    • Gangwarrules

      Rule 1:
During events organized by the LTR or the administration, no Gangwars may be started unless both involved gangs agree to it. This does not apply to mini-events such as “Blitz SMS”, “Find the Reporter”, etc.

      Rule 2:
Arranged Gangwars are strictly prohibited unless they are explicitly authorized by an admin. Example: Gang A is attacked by Gang B, but Gang B leaves the area just to prevent Gang C from attacking it.

      Rule 3:
Attacking during high water, which is announced through a red server message in the chat, is prohibited.

      Rule 4:
The following weapons are allowed in Gangwar:
      • 9mm SD
      • Deagle
      • Mp5
      • AK 47
      • M4
      • Rifle

      Rule 5:
Once the first shot has been fired (notification), consuming substances such as burgers, cigarettes, sweets, etc., which affect health, armor, or hunger during the Gangwar, is strictly prohibited.

      Rule 6:
Players who have not been assigned to the Gangwar must not be near the contested Gangwar area and must not interfere in any way. However, if a situation began before the Gangwar and continues into it, that situation may be played out until the end.

      Rule 7:
If gang members are on their way to a Gangwar area (not yet in the preparation phase) to set it up for a later attack, they may still be disturbed by other gang members within the limits of other rules.

      Rule 8:
If a gang is in the process of setting up an area (preparation phase), gang members with the setup status (!!! Gangwar Setup !!!) and within the respective area may not be disturbed. However, if a fight starts beforehand or outside the area, the situation may continue within the area.

      Rule 9:
During a Gangwar, shooting through fences, gates, map glitches, and walls is strictly forbidden!

      Rule 10:
It is prohibited to modify skins, vehicles, or parts of Gangwar areas to gain an advantage.

      Rule 11:
It is allowed to climb onto roofs and elevated areas using gang vehicles, which may be stacked like stairs, and general environmental objects (e.g., containers). However, jumping with vehicles is not allowed. Aircraft, parachutes, or placed objects may not be used for this purpose.

      Rule 12:
No aircraft may be used in Gangwar. Only Gangwar vehicles (arrow marker) may be used. However, flying to an area with an aircraft is allowed, as long as the Gangwar area is not visible on the minimap.
=> EXCEPTION: The defending faction is allowed to use one helicopter at the Gangwar area "Island" and two helicopters at "Pissgebiet" and "Ships".

      Rule 13:
Logging out to escape during a Gangwar is forbidden. If a player is kicked from the game for an unavoidable reason, they may only return to the Gangwar with the exact same health and armor they had before the kick. After death, rejoining the Gangwar is not allowed unless the player has been manually added back via command.

      Rule 14:
It is not allowed to aim or shoot from a gang vehicle during Gangwar. Drive-by shooting and the drive-by animation are prohibited.
=> EXCEPTION: The current owner of the "Island" or "Ships" area is allowed to use the designated boats (Launch). These will spawn automatically after defenders have been assigned. Additionally, using weapons from these boats is permitted.

      Rule 15:
A Gangwar area may only be attacked (/gwstart) if it is clearly set up and must remain set up until all opposing participants are defeated.
A Gangwar area is considered clearly set up when the following conditions are met:
      1. Four (4) vehicles with four (4) wheels each are positioned around the TK² (Example of a properly set up TK)
      2. A member of the attacking gang is present within the four vehicles (see 1) and is wearing the gang skin.
      3. The following exceptions apply:
        • Refinery – requires at least three (3) vehicles
        • Tennis court – requires at least three (3) vehicles
        • Islands – valid with two (2) gang members at the skull marker
        • Pissgebiet – set up with two (2) helicopters around the TK symbol
        • Biker meeting point – requires at least three (3) vehicles
        • Ships – set up with two (2) helicopters around the TK symbol
²Around the TK: one vehicle length in each direction from the TK

      Rule 16:
If a player dies during Gangwar due to a bug or external interference, they may be added back to the Gangwar via command without requiring the opposing gang’s consent. However, proof must be provided if requested by the opposing gang. If the death was self-inflicted, the decision to reinstate the player lies with the opposing gang.

      Rule 17:
If state factions participate in Gangwar, they will be treated as a "gang" under these rules.

Players are required to stay informed about rule updates and to comply with these rules at all times. Admin instructions take precedence over these rules. In case of disputes, a member of the Vio team should be consulted. Exploiting loopholes in these rules will also be punished. Discussions about "Gangwar-deciding" rule violations will no longer be entertained. If a gang justifiably reports a rule violation during a Gangwar to a team member, the contested area will be reset or reassigned without further discussion.
